He was a graduate of Lynn schools and School of Engineering. Mr. Hutchins was chief engineer at Union Hospital, Lynn, where he worked for 42 years. He retired in 1990. He was a member of the Wakefield Retired Club and a collector at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Lynn. In World War II he was in the Navy serving on the USS Princeton. Mr. Hutchins also leaves a daughter, Martha Waldo of North Reading; a brother, Robert Flynn of Revere; a sister, Mary Lewis of Lynn; a grandson and several nieces and nephews"

Rice, died at 3:30 oclock last evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Harry Ruby, this place. Death followed a lingering illness. Mrs. Rice was a daughter of the late Isaac and Julia Stambaugh, North Codorus township. Her husband died 12 years ago. She was a life-long member of the Reformed congregation of St Peters (Lischeys) Union Church. The following survive: Two sons, Charles Rice, Spring Grove R. D. 2, and John Rice, York; five daughters, Mrs. Mellie Eline, Porters Sideling; Mr. Edward Shaffer, Spring Grove R. D. 3; Mrs. Jacob Car, Hanover; Mrs. Melvin Zellers, York New Salem, and Mrs. Hany Ruby, with whom she resided; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces."
