Gray, 93, died Monday, December 6, 2021, at Courtland Rehab and Living Center in Ellsworth, with her loving granddaughter by her side. She was born October 4, 1928, a daughter of George and Leah (Penney) French. Carol loved to bake and made excellent cookies, she also loved to shop. She collected spoons and for a time sold Avon. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Gray; one son, Frederick Littlefield and his wife, Lucy; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four siblings, Linda Leach and husband, George, Gayle Picard and husband, Roger, Ricky French and wife, Sandi, and Brenda Lymburner; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Carol was predeceased by her husband, Alvertie E. Gray Jr.; two children, Glendon Littlefield and Penney Littlefield; one grandson: Richard Littlefield, as well as four brothers and four sisters."

Burial in De Soto Cemetery. Dorothy was born January 26, 1918, in Omaha, NE, to parents Floyd Guy Harris and Lillian Blanche Henningsen Harris. She graduated from Argentine High School. She married Willard Byron Barclay Kirbee in 1936, and lived in Wyandotte County for many years. Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life; however, she did work at Hallmark Cards for a short time. They moved to De Soto, from Wyandotte County, in 1967. They enjoyed entertaining Senior Citizens with the Harmonicats and the Grandees. She was a member of the De Soto YW Club for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Robert A. Harris, Louis R. Harris, and Floyd G. Harris, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Willard Byron Barclay Kibbee; her children: Sandra F. (Kenneth) McDonald, Ph.D., of Hampton, VA; Gary W.B. Kibbee, (Catherine) Ph.D., of Los Alamitos, CA; Stephen E. Kibbee, D. Eng., (Kristin) of Katy, TX; grandchildren: L. [19582] John was a ship's caulker, among other things. He was a member of the 1796 committee to set up the school district for Penobscot. John's parents are from the IGI file Compact Disc #28, Pin #835779 and are not verified. http://www.one-barton-family.us/genealogy/viva/d4520.html reports John "was a private in the Revolutionary War." A John Snowman is listed in the pay roll at West Point 14 Nov 1778 as a Private in Capt. Thomas Hodsden's Company in Col. Thomas Poor's Regiment of the MA Militia at a pay rate of £2 per month.
