Samuel Treat and Abigail (Willard) Easterbrooke had children: Eunice (b. Sept. 27, 1704 in Eastham) and Robert (b. Jan. 21, 1707 in Eastham). Abigail died Dec. 27, 1746. Rev. Samuel Treat died Mar. 18, 1716/17 in Eastham and he is buried in the Old Town Cove Cemetery in Eastham, right next to the site of the first meetinghouse in Eastham. He was minister of Eastham for about 45 years. He graduated from Harvard in 1669. He came to the Eastham church in 1673. He was minister to many Indians and he could read and write in the Nauset tongue."
