She died as a young mother on January 27, 1849, at the age of 31, and was buried in East Palestine, Ohio."

Ritzman, 89, of Port Royal RR1, died at 1:35 p.m. Friday, December 15, 1995, at Locust Grove Retirement Village, HC 67, Mifflin. Born November 14, 1906, in Turbett Township, she was the daughter of the late George O. and Emma J. [Groninger] McClure. Her husband, Ira M. Ritzman, preceded her in death on October 6, 1982. Surviving are: sons, John M. Ritzman, Mifflintown RR4, I. Glenn Ritzman, Paradise, PA; sisters, Mrs. Jessie Peffer, Mechanicsburg, Mrs. James [Esther] Cocklin, Dillsburg; six grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Elliott McClure, and two sisters, Lillian Ritzman and Leone Goodman. She was a graduate of Port Royal High School and Berkley Business School in Harrisburg. She was a member of Port Royal Presbyterian Church and a 50-year member of Turbett Grange No. 781."
