Junior is survived by a son and his wife, Brian and Terri Stanwood of Steuben; a daughter and her husband, Michele and Brett Leighton of Eastport; a daughter and her husband Melanie and Mike Cummings of Eastport; and daughter Bobbi Jo Stanwood and her partner Steven Mirasola both of Lake George, N.Y. He was also blessed with grandchildren Danielle, James, B.J., Jessie, Hollie-Anne, Nicole, Brandon, William and Christian; and great-grandchildren Ryan, Natalie, Lydia, Braylee and Colton. Junior was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He worked many different jobs to provide for his family. He was known to have been a pretty good clammer and wormer in his day. He loved the woods, hunting, fishing, trapping, cutting wood, and brushing to make Christmas wreaths late in the fall. He had a kind and gentle spirit. He didnt have much to give but anyone coming in for a visit rarely left empty-handed."
