He was the manager of Murray Motors for over 20 years and then, following his true love, became an antique dealer. Sonny was an avid hunter and collector of antiques and enjoyed all forms of cultural events. He is survived by one son, Matthew M. and wife Amanda Brown of Muncy, PA; one brother, William C. Brown of Hughesville, PA; two sisters, Kathryn M. and husband Frank Moncado of Williamsport, PA and Pattie E.B. and husband Charles Guttenplan of Lansdale, PA. Sonny is also survived by two grandsons, Garrett and Colin Brown and many loving nieces and nephews."

(Balt., 1992) 70-33 - Guncelin of Baldesmere, Kent, was Justice of Chester; Custodian of Chester Castle. http://en.allexperts.com offers: "Bartholomew de Burghersh served in the Scottish wars, and assisted his uncle Bartholomew de Badlesmere, 1st Baron Badlesmere, who was Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports in 1320. Uncle and nephew both joined the rebellious Earl of Lancaster at the Battle of Boroughbridge (March 16, 1321/2), but were captured after the defeat there. Badlesmere was hanged, but Burghersh was pardoned by Queen Isabella. He was himself made Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports and Constable of Dover Castle in 1327, holding the office until 1330. In 1329, he was created Baron Burghersh by writ of summons. From 1335 until 1343, he was one of the Justices in Eyre, responsible for enforcing forest law. In 1340, he inherited some of the lands of his brother, Bishop Henry Burghersh. He was made a Knight Banneret in 1341, and was sent as part of an embassy to the Pope in August 1343. He would later become Lord Chamberlain of the Household, Admiral of the West, and Seneschal and Custos of Ponthieu and Montreuil. He fought at the Battle of Crécy in the King's division, and was present at the Siege of Calais. He was again appointed Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports in 1348, and was made Constable of the Tower of London on June 27, 1355. He fell ill while at Dover Castle and died there on August 3, 1355." [6272] Emperor and Stoic philosopher, his original name was Marcus Annius Verus. He is son of Annius Verus, prefect of Rome and three times consul, who was of Spanish background and received patrician rank from Vespasian. Annius died when Marcus was three months old; he was adopted by his grandfather. Hadrian adopted, as his successor, Titus Antoninus Pius, Marcus' uncle, on condition that Titus adopt Marcus. In 139 he was given the title Caesar and dropped the original name of Verus. In 140 he became consul. Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1956 (14:871) reports "Last of a line of emperors who all seemed to come little short of the Stoic ideal of the philosopher king, Marcus Aurelius was the best of them all." He was a persecutor of Christianity, doubtless in order to retain the state religion and its explicit support for the emperor.
