Tish was born in Bangor, Maine on August 3, 1952, to Lawrence and Margaret (Cobb) Haskell. Tish graduated from Dexter Regional High School in 1970, and the University of Maine at Machias in 1974. After spending several years as a secretary, she began her teaching career at Belfast Area High School (14 years) where she made many lifelong friends. From there she continued her career at Bucksport High School (16 years) where she was an athletic director for six years. In this position she garnered many friends throughout the state. Tish will be remembered for many positive traits among them her organizational skills and uncanny memory of scores and statistics. Tish is survived by her husband, Scott, of 47 years; son Shaun and wife, Kim; granddaughters, Courtney Killinger and Madison Frazier; bonus family, Ralph and Jessy Hosford; Sherry Hosford; Dennis and Judy Simmons; bonus granddaughters, Eliza, Zoe, and Ella Hosford; sisters, Bonnie Bagley and husband, Roy, Lynn Bailey and husband, Jason; sister-in-law, Cathy Haskell; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was predeceased by her mother, father, and brother, Larry Haskell."

"The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]," 14 November 2023: "Ellsworth and East Hampton, Conn. - Eleanor Louise Jones went to be with the Lord on Nov. 11, 2023. She was born on Sept. 28, 1926, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Harry S. Jones, Jr. and Beatrice E. Jones. Eleanor graduated from Bangor Maine School of Commerce, now Husson University, in 1946 for teaching. She taught business in Houlton from 1946-1949; in 1949-1950 she went to the University of Maine to receive her bachelor's degree in business. She taught business from 1951-1956 at Brunswick High School, then from 1956-1990 (34) years at East Hampton High School in East Hampton, Conn. She retired in June of 1990 and moved back to the family homestead where she was a caregiver and still a teacher in life to many of us. Eleanor loved to make quilts, and when babies were born, she would make one. She enjoyed baking and she was famous for her fudge. She volunteered countless hours at Friends in Action, Lioness Club for 32 years, overseeing Seaport and Courtland Living Center with their bingo and ice cream socials, Meals for ME 25 years, she was a board member of MDI Housing Authority, recipient of the Paul Harris Award 2003, Ellsworth Chamber Citizen of the Year in 2014 and a member of the First Congregational Church in Ellsworth.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews; nieces Emilie Jones, Jennifer Jones; nephews, Chris Jones and wife Patricia, Jonathan Mahon and wife Michelle; great nieces and nephews, Carrie Jones and partner Ryan, Brandon (BJ) Jones and wife Jessica, Trent Mahon and fiancee Mikayla Tripp, Steven Mahon and wife Katie, Christine Mahon, Ashton, Freeman, Casey Smart; great-great nieces and nephews, Katie Mahon Daniel, Mason and Ashton Freeman, Ryder Jones, and Quentin Mahon; great-great-great nephew, Thatcher Daniel; cousins, Joan Broussard and husband Chief and Elizabeth Meeks.
