Elizabeth (Beal) and Herbert Forsythe. He was a graduate of Ellsworth High School. Having grown up across the road from Cordie Stanwood, now Birdsacre Sanctuary, he enjoyed bird watching. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping and miniature golf. In 1969 he moved to the Pittsfield area. He is survived by his wife, Judith Patten Forsy, the two sons, Cabot J. Forsythe and his wife Julie of Mechanicsville, Va. and Allen C. Forsythe of Hancock; a daughter, Jane Veinot and her husband, John, of Hancock; two grandchildren, Kelsey Wallace and Kameron Veinot of Hancock; a sister, June Forsythe of Ellsworth; his twin brother. Herbert Forsythe and his wife, Leone of Verona Island and Florida; two nieces, one nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews." John served in the U.S. Army.
