He purchased tracts in Toboyne Twp. 22 Jan. and 14 April, 1800 (later Madison Twp., north of Cisna Run); he added 30 acres in 1806 and 50 acres with a saw mill in 1808. He m. ca. 1780 in Berks Co., PA to Maria Catharina _____. He and Maria were members of Lebanon Lutheran Church at Loysville. Bernhardina Pieters (Peters) was the second wife of Johannes Yohn, marrying in 1775. Note: Johannes and Bernhardina came to Perry County from Flackner Swamp Reformed congregation near Gilbertsville and New Hanover, not far from the historic Falckner Swamp (New Haven) Lutheran Church.
