[54956] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 18 October 2023: "Brownville - Dorothy Janet (Perkins) Gray, 86, the beloved wife of the late Alfred (Fred) Gray Jr., peacefully passed away at her loving daughter's home in Brownville, on October 16, 2023. She was born in Brownville, January 11, 1937, the daughter of the late Elbridge 'Dub' Wellington Perkins and Kathleen Perkins. She was a member of the Brownville Community Church and a former member of the Bowling team (The Wrecker Crew), the Red Hat Society and Junior Welfare Club. She enjoyed working all the jobs she created and taking care of family. She especially enjoyed the years of owning and running the Roller Rink in Milo. She loved watching all the kids grow up. She is survived by her children, Danial Gray and wife, Vicky, of Brownville, Jean Brown and husband, Robert, of Brownville, Kathy Pratt and fiancé, Ricky, of Brownville, and Shawn Gray of Freeport; and all her grandchildren, Scott Gray and wife, Ann, Chris Gray and wife, Amber, Angie Powers, Jamie Gorecki and husband, John, Andy Pratt, Malory Flagg and husband, Kevin, and Oliver Gray; and many great-grandchildren, and other family."

Tim Powys-Lybbe at http://www.freewebz.com/powys/pl_tree/ps31/ps31_117.htm reports Elizabeth is daughter of Simon Thornell (of Thornhill and Hunsworth, Yorkshire) and Elsabeth [sic], and that Simon is son of Bryan Thornyll [son of Sir John Thornyll and Beatrice Talboner] and Jone FitzWilliam [daughter of William FitzWilliam and Isabel Deincourt (dau. of Edmund, Lord Deincourt)]. Tim Powys-Lybbe also states about William FitzWilliam "CP says of his wives: 'He apparently married twice, (1) Maude, dead in 1324, and (2) Isabel Deincourt, who dies 1348, apparently s.p.' So I have made Maud the mother of his two children. But the Yorks Visitaiton of 1563-64 shows Isabel Deincourt as the mother, though some 200 years after the event. Executor of his father's will in 1294 (so adult then?)."
