Her family will always remember her for baked beans with her homemade brown bread on Saturday nights and her almost famous chocolate midnight cake and deviled eggs at family gatherings. In retirement, she spent many happy hours doing crossword puzzles, knitting, playing Bingo and Bridge. For many years Janet had fun riding her moped, playing the piano, and picnicking with friends and family. She was a lifelong resident of Winter Harbor and loved it very much. She always said, 'Why would anyone want to live anywhere else?' Janet is survived by her children, Cynthia Alley and her husband, Jeff, Beth Winter and her husband, Emil, Patricia Robinson and her husband, Skip, David Fickett and his wife, Liz, and Paul Fickett and his wife, Christy.
