He was born at Limestone August 13, 1913, son of Roscoe and Ida (Gillespie) Edgecomb. He was a prominent farmer, a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Caswell-Limestone potato growers association. Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth Mable; three sons, Reginald and Larry of Limestone, and Earl with the Navy at Bainbridge, Md.; three daughters, Donna, Sharon and Joanna, all of Limestone; three brothers, Raymond of Limestone, Harold of Whelan, N.Y.; and Glenn of Lawrence, Mass.; a half-brother Joseph Bolstridge or Connecticut; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Nickleson of Bath, N.Y.; Ruth Summers of Limestone, Mrs. Bernice Dubay and Mrs. Janice Davidson, both of Connecticut; and one grandchild."
