Brenda worked in the banking business for 45 years, which included: Liberty Bank, Depositors Bank, Key Bank, CN Bank, and BHBT. While working at the banks, she volunteered for community events and parades, including the Bucksport Chamber of Commerce for the Bucksport Day events. After retiring, she continued her community service thru volunteering for Friends in Action, driving people to their appointments. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Brenda was a devoted member of Weight Watchers. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald 'Don'; devoted son, Jeffrey Condon and wife, Katie, all of Brooksville; parents of No. Penobscot; sisters, Claudia Smith and husband, Winfield, of No. Penobscot and Freida Peasley and partner, Gerry Nevells, of Brooksville; brother, Homer Lowell and wife, Megan, of No. Penobscot; sister-in-law, Helen Condon of Cape Rosier; her special canine friend, Taffy; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earle and Natalie Condon; and brother-in-law, James Peasley Jr."

Mrs. Wardwell is survived by 13 sons and daughters, 64 grandchildren, and 54 greatgrandchildren. Always active in the religious social and civic movements of the town, she will be missed by a large circle of friends who knew her as a kind neighbor, a faithful friend, and valued advisor. She was the widow of Frederick Wardwell, who died some years ago. She is survived by eight sons, Charles, Percy, Raymond, Vergi,l Ralph, Frank, Gustine and Harry Wardwell, all of Castine, and by five daughters, Mrs. Laura Dunbar, Mrs. Pearl Leach and Mrs. Emma Pinkham, all of Penobscot, Mrs. James Hatch of Castine, and Mrs. Bert Bowden of Stockton Springs." [23585] His obituary: "Harold B. Walker, 82, a tool and die maker, died Jan. 11, 1997, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at University Christian Church. Officiant: Dr. Charles Sanders. Harold B. Walker was born April 8, 1914, in Fort Worth. In 1953, he moved to Chicago, where he worked for Stewart Warner, returning to Fort Worth in 1983 when his wife, Florence, died. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Lee Tinker and Myrtle Landers of Fort Worth. Survivors: Son and wife, Clyde E. and Norma Paschall of Galveston; brother and wife, Wm. Herbert and Ova Walker; sister, Claudine Mitchell; sister and her husband, Imogene and Donald E. McCue; and brother-in-law, H.S. Landers of Fort Worth."
