[5318] Constance m. (2) Edmund Holand, 4th Earl of Kent and had Eleanor Holand who m. James Touchet, 2nd Baron Audley. http://www.thepeerage.com reports "Constance Langley was a member of the House of Plantagenet. She was invested as a Lady Companion, Order of the Garter (L.G.) in 1386." Find A Grave Memorial 37897949 offers: "She is notable for her failed plot to depose King Henry IV. Constance was born in Conisburgh Castle, Yorkshire, the daughter of Edmund of Langley, 1st Duke of York. In 1379 she was married to Thomas le Despenser, later the 1st Earl of Gloucester; both were around five years old at the time. They eventually had three children. King Richard II made her a Dame of the Order of the Garter in 1386. When Richard was deposed in 1399 Despenser initially supported the usurper Henry IV, but the following year he took part in the short-lived Epiphany Rising and was killed by a mob in Bristol. Constance turned out to be a feisty widow. She became the mistress of the 4th Earl of Kent, having a daughter by him, and frequently petitioned and sued the crown over her holdings. Contemporary documents state she was disloyal to the king "many times". In 1405 she involved herself in the rebellion of Welsh prince Owain Glyndwyr, who had occupied Caerphilly Castle, which Constance owned. It was in both their interests to replace Henry with Richard's presumptive heir, the imprisoned Edmund de Mortimer, 5th Earl of March, so she arranged for his escape from Windsor Castle with the intention of delivering him to Caerphilly. From there Henry's enemies were to form an army to march on England, with the young earl as figurehead. But Constance's brother, the Duke of York, betrayed the plot and Mortimer was captured before reaching Wales. Summoned to the Privy Council, Constance freely admitted her scheme but apparently no charges were brought against her. The Duke of York was confined for several months and then pardoned. Constance's last years were lived in quiet, possibly under banishment at Reading Abbey in Berkshire, where she died. Her tomb was near that of King Henry I. (bio by: Bobb Edwards)" Ancestry.com offers: "Langley Name Meaning - habitational name from any of the numerous places named with Old English lang 'long' + leah 'wood', 'glade'; or a topographic name with the same meaning. English: from the Old Norse female personal name Langlíf, composed of the elements lang 'long' + líf 'life'. Americanized spelling of French Langlais."

[53651] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine], 10 March 2021: "Trenton - Sueann Sargent, 60, died unexpectedly March 8, 2021, at her home in Trenton. She was born January 7, 1961, in Bar Harbor, daughter of Walter W. (Bud) and Ann (Bunker) Sargent. Sueann grew up in Bar Harbor and graduated in the class of 1979 from MDI High School. Following graduation, she worked on and near MDI for local businesses in the hospitality industry and as a highly skilled seamstress. Talented in many mediums, Sueann loved to paint, craft jewelry, knit and sew. She could do it all and friends and family who have received handmade gifts from her over the years consider them treasures. Animals of all kinds were a passion and source of joy for Sueann. She would often borrow her brother William's dog, Ivy, for rides to the local bank for a biscuit and was always available to 'pet sit' when needed. She had many very special kitties in her life as well over the years, whether her own or that of her family and friends. She doted on them all. She enjoyed working on and keeping Sargent family genealogy records, history and pictures. Sueann is survived by her partner, Gary Kane of Trenton; her brother, Glen Sargent and wife, Mary, of Lincolnville; her brother ,William Sargent and wife, Susan, of Trenton; her aunt, Susan Newman of Southwest Harbor; her uncle, Raymond Bunker Jr. and wife, Ellen, of Whitehall, Montana; nieces, Elizabeth, Emily, Colleen and Natalie; numerous cousins; and many friends that will all miss her."
