[5271] Emma's sister Emmelina never married; the de Lacy title passed through Emma to her son, Gilbert - see "The Roll of the House of Lacy," DeLacy Bellingari (Baltimore: Waverly Press, 1928). Emma married the Count of Mellent and became ancestor of the lords of Ulster through her son, Gilbert. "Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), p. 118, states her husband is not proven, but is said to be Hugh Talbot, alias de Lacy. For a discussion of her ancestry, etc., see in 2010 "The Lordship of Ewyas Lacy - The descent of the Lordship from Norman times to the present day" at http://www.ewyaslacy.org.uk.
