Donald registered for the World War II draft at age 24, r. Elliottsburg, Perry Co., PA, employed by H. H. Freysinger in New Bloomfield, and Donald's wife was Mrs. Jean Rudy Weibley. The 3 April 1940 federal census in Elliottsburg, Perry Co., PA lists him (age 23) as a welder employed in a welding shop and includes wife Jean R. (age 19, b. in Mannsville, Perry Co., PA) and daughter Sarah Arlene (age 2).
