A native of Shiloh he was a member of the Order of Railroad Telegraphers, Past Master of Shiloh F. A. M, Angelus chapter, O. E. S. and the Mt. Hope Lutheran church. A New York Central railroad operator and agent, he is survived by his wife, Maud and six sons, Thomas, Keyport naval station, Washington: Pfc. Robert, Arkansas; Lieut. James, army air force overseas; Sgt. Dean, New Guinea; Paul, Shiloh, and Richard, Cleveland; five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Floyd Anderson, Plymouth.
