On 2 October 1918, Chandler died in the Flu Pandemic in Harvard, Worcester, Massachusetts. The Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records, database on Ancestry.com has several pages of soldiers and a few nurses who died in a few days of each other. It must have been heartbreaking for Elinor to lose her young husband. She married second, another soldier, Harold 20 December 1921 in Blue Hill. He died in 1965, leaving her a widow again. She live to be 100 years old. Her burial location is unknown by me, but it was placed in this cemetery since several family members are buried here."
