[2587] Renaud was killed in the great battle at the Horns of Hattin in the Holy Land. His ancestry is given in Jamie Allen's genealogy web site at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jamesdow/pedstart.htm in 2003 (not verified). He was known as Lord of Krale in Moab and Prince of Antioch. http://www.friesian.com/flanders.htm#chatillon reports: "Reynald (or Renaud) of Châtillon, as noted, becomes Prince of Antioch through marriage to the heiress, Constance, of Prince Bohemond II. They had no issue, and Reynald was even repudiated by Constance. Reynald's subsequent mischief so angered the Sult.ân of Egypt, Saladin, that he was killed, in some accounts, at the hand of the Sult.ân himself, after being captured at the Battle of the Horns of Hattin in 1187." See notes for his wite, Constance of Antioch. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raynald_of_Châtillon
