[55915] Richard's obituary: "Bucksport- Richard K. Ames, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Monday February 3, 2020. He was born on March 20, 1939 in Castine the son of Maxwell and Imogene (Shirley) Ames. Richard was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved his family and was the love of his wife Pamelas life. He was a humble, stubborn, proud man. He served in the Air Force for 8 years. Richard managed Webber Tanks for 17 years and worked and retired from the papermill. He was an entrepreneur who loved to paint pictures using oil paints. Richard is survived by his loving wife Pam, three children: Richard K. Ames II and wife Jen, Lynella Ames and Kelly Ryan Ames, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 6 brothers and sisters along with many nieces and nephews."

Charles died 1924, Vinalhaven. Maria & Charles had one son, Frederick Bruce Grindle, b 15 Jan 1899, Vinalhaven - 28 Dec 1992, Vinalhaven. In 1910, 44-year-old Charles, 36-year-old Maria and 11-year-old son F Bruce are residing on Summer Street, Vinalhaven where he is working as a stonecutter. In 1920, 53-year-old Charles and 46-year-old wife Montelieu M are on Lakeview Street on Vinalhaven where he is working as a granite stone cutter. With them is 20-year-old son, Bruce F. Charles and Maria are buried next to his brother (?) Fred A Grindle and his wife."

He died on December 29, 1965, in Jeromesville, Ohio, at the age of 68, and was buried there."
