She was bom Sept. 25, 1901, in Penobscot, the daughter of Herman L. and Carol M. (Perkins) Leach. Until her death, Tena had the distinction of being Orland's oldest resident. She was a member of the Orland United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Group. She was past matron of the Order of Eastern Star Riverside Chapter No. 123 of Orland; past president of the Matron Club, Orland; and a member of the Hancock County Extension. She is survived by eight grandchildren, Sherry, Marlene, Debbie, Betsy, Eugene, Elizabeth, Charlene and Ken; sister-in-law, Christina Gray; daughter-in-law, Elida Gray; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many very dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Merle W. Grey in 1979; daughter, Thelma Mae Grey in 1925; four sons, Eugene L. Grey in 1944, Theodore M. Grey in 1990, Stanley Grey in 1999 and C. Wayne Gray in 2000; great-granddaughter, Rachel Libby in 1999."
