He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Donald will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Nesta (Kimball) Ross of Newburgh; his children, Allen Ross and wife, Kim of Newburgh, Harrison Ross of Bangor, Lois Buchanan and husband, Curt of Hermon, and Scott Ross and wife, Rose of Hampden; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, nine siblings, daughter-in-law, Mary Ross of Bangor, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Donald was predeceased by his parents, his son, Jimmy Ross, seven siblings, and a son-in-law, Jimmy Woodard."
