[26437] As wife of this John Beall her husband's place in the Beall family is disputed - Lew Griffin of Phoenix, AZ at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~lewgriffin/p362.htm (not verified) provides her husband, John Beall, and his ancestry through Alexander Beall and Elizabeth Coombs, and offers: "Immigrant. [38744] Find A Grave Memorial # 27671877 offers: "There is some conflict about the birth date of Maria. Some researchers have used the 18 Feb 1760 date which corresponds to the tombstone year, however other researchers argue that a more likely date would be 12 Apr 1769. The later date is based on the fact that Barbara was baptized in Zions Church, Windsor Twp., Berks Co, PA in 1769. (Since Lutherans practice infant baptism, this could be soon after birth.) Also they argue that Barbara's parents were married in 1762 making the 1760 birthyear unlikely. Also it is obvious that this isn't the original tombstone but a replacement. It is quite possible that the original was in German, which is true of some of the earliest tombstones in this cemetery."
