[7429] William was vice principal at Emporium, PA, 1900-14, principal at Emporium, 1914-15, principal at Greencastle, PA, and also supervising principal of state college schools, 1915-18; then he became a textbook representative for Sott, Foresman & Co., working in eastern PA, DE and MD, 1921-57. He served on the Narberth School Board. He and Margaret were members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Narberth. They are buried in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. He was a Mason and an Odd Fellow. He graduated from Dickinson College, 1909.

(2) ca 1925 Ernestine _____; he m. (3) Phyllis Williams (b. 26 Aug 1901, d. in Aurora, ME 25 April 1986). In 1930 he was a mechanic at a machine shop, and r. Bangor, ME. In 1935 he had an automove garage in Gardner and r. 1 Northern Ave., Farmingdale, ME. "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 21 October 1968, p. 19: "Great Pond - Bryan J. Mace, 72, died at Togus veterans' hospital Sunday after a long illness. He was born Dec. 21, 1895 at Great Pond, the son of Frank and Ruby (Williams) Mace. He was a mechanic and veteran of World War I, having served in the United States Army. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Phyllis (Williams) Mace of Great Pond; two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Coffey of Randolph, Mass., and Mrs. Carman Saunders of Randolph, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Esther Houston of Milo; five grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins."
