Link, at Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Saturday, Sept. 29, [1906] at the age of 87 years. His remains reached Port Royal on Monday, accompanied by his son, Judge Samuel M. Hench, and were taken to the home of R. E. Groninger, where funeral services were conducted by Rev. McAfee, of the Presbyterian Church of which the deceased was a member, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, after which interment was made in Church Hill cemetery. The deceased was well and favorably known by many of this section and was at one time and extensive contractor. A more extensive notice will be published next week."
