Previously, he was a maintenance man and laborer at the Lehigh Portland Cement Co., Allentown, for 24 years and a powder mixer at the former Trojan Powder Co., South Whitehall Township, for five years. Born in Heidelberg Township, he was a son of the late Clinton J. and Mary M. (Leiby) Fritzinger. He was a member and former deacon of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church. An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Purple Heart. He was a life member of Vernon G. Kern Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8344, Schnecksville, and a member of American Legion Post 945, Harrisburg and the Germansville and Fogelsville fire companies. Survivors: wife; sons, Glenn W. of Hampton, Va., and Terry L., at home, and three grandchildren."
