He was a general contractor and was very proud of the business that he established over the last 35 years. He was active in many areas of the Stockton Springs community, including the volunteer fire department. He was well known, well liked, and will be missed by many. Michael is survived by his wife of nearly 29 years, Denise (Burpee) Johnson, of Stockton Springs; his son, Sean Johnson of Stockton Springs; his mother, Clara Johnson, of Stockton Springs; three siblings, Marie Johnson of Stockton Springs, Terry Johnson, of Stockton Springs, Robert Johnson and his wife, Sharon, of Kensington, N.H.; in-laws, Dee Burpee, Boyd Burpee and his wife, Sue, of Eddington, Chuck Ordway and his wife, Mary of N.C.; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Amee, Brian, Nicole, Nathan; several aunts, uncles, cousins; many close friends.
