[20297] Find A Grave Memorial 101685039 offers: "Knight, Justiciar of Ireland, younger son of Robert de Ufford and Cecily de Valoines. Second husband of Maud Lancaster, father of Maud who married Sir Thomas de Vere. Ralph was an incompetent Justiciar, disliked by the Irish who were under his badly-managed administration when the civil war that was waged between the Desmond and de Burgh families was at its height. He was summoned before Parliament to answer for his actions and the continual quarrels and skirmishes between the Anglo-Norman noblemen."

George was a great fan of the Boston Red Sox. He loved Fenway Park and was very happy when the Red Sox finally beat the Yankees and Cardinals to win The World Series in 2004, after 86 years. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling the world, and participated in yoga and water aerobics classes. He loved spending time with his family and dog, Chase. He has always loved his home state of Maine and yearly returned to visit family and friends. During a recent trip, he successfully climbed Mount Katahdin, the highest mountain in the state at 5,268 feet. Throughout George's illness he found strength in his faith. He was an inspiration to all and will be greatly missed.
