He was born in Frankfort Jan. 24, 1893 the son of Wesley and Leila (Snow) Perkins. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by a son, Herbert Perkins with the U.S. Army in Vietnam; three sisters, Mrs. Christine Otis of Bangor, Miss Alice and Ruth Perkins of Frankfort; several nieces, nephews, and cousins."
