Howard Downing, pastor of Grace Brethren Church, of which she was a member will officiate. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Born Sept 13, 1910, in Kosciusko County, she had lived in the area all her life. On Feb. 9, 1931, she married Willard Hepler, who survives. Other survivors are a son, James of California; a grandson; a sister, Mrs. Eva Howard of Columbus; and a brother, Ralph Gall of LaPorte."

[35720] Find A Grave Memorial 123394312 offers: "Records indicate that Jonas joined the Connecticut Army on 14 May 1760 towards the end of the French and Indian War. He was a member of Col. Nathan Whiting's 2nd Regiment, Capt. Ichabod Scranton's 5th Company. Records from the Connecticut Campaign of 1760 show Jonas Powers Killed in Action on 28 September 1760. At that time the 2nd Regiment was stationed at The Fort at Number 4. This fort was the northernmost British settlement and was located along the Connecticut River in New Hampshire. There is no record of what became of his body and no burial site has been recorded."
