[7389] "The Perry County Democrat, 16 January 1935," p. 3: "Mrs. Mary (Briner) Minich, wife of William Minich, of Bainbridge, Lancaster county, passed away on Thursday morning, January 10, at the Lancaster Hospital. She had undergone an operation for gallstones a few days before and was getting along as well as could be expected when the end came suddenly. Mrs. Minich was a daughter of John H. and Dianna (Hollenbaugh) Briner and was born in Jackson township. She was aged 50 years, 2 months and 24 days. When about 16 years of age, she united with the Lutheran church, in Blain. April 26, 1910, she married William Minich, who survives her with four sons, Scott, Dean, Guy and Carl, all at home. She is also survived by a twin sister, Mrs. Anna Miller, of Newville, and one brother, Harry Briner, living on the old homestead at Mt. Pleasant. Four children, two sons and two daughters, preceded her to the spirit world."

He was the son of Thomas Lothropp and Maude (--?--). Reverend John Lothropp graduated from Queen's College, Cambridge, England, with a B.A. in 1605 and with an M.A. in 1609. He married Hannah House, daughter of Reverend John House, on 10 October 1610 at Eastwell, Kent, England. Reverend John Lothropp was imprisoned for his religious beliefs from 22 April 1632 to 1634 at Clink prison, London, England. John arrived aboard the Griffen on 18 September 1634 at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He married Anna (--?--) on 14 June 1635 at Barnstable, Barnstable County, Massachusetts. Reverend John Lothropp died on 8 November 1653 at Barnstable at age 68. He was buried on 10 November 1653 at Barnstable." - and provides further ancestry.

[41638] "The Morning Call [Allentown, PA}, 9 March 1988," p. 49: "Mrs. Corrine M. Saltzgiver, 65, of 1414 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown, founder of the multiple sclerosis program at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital, died Monday in St. Luke's Hospital. She was the widow of Samuel Saltzgiver. She was coordinator of the Lehigh Valley Unit of the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Allentown, for nearly 20 years before retiring last month due to illness. She began her career in 1968 as a volunteer during the society's Hope Chest appeal. As director, her duties included close contact with clients, helping them find counseling, programs and transportation. In recognition of her efforts in establishing the Good Shepherd program, she recently received a plaque from the National M.S. Society that will be placed in the clinic at Good Shepherd. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Dr. William G. and Edith M. (Witman) Kinsley. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie L. Spatz, at home, and a brother, William W. of Newark, Del."
