He was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Searsport, the son of Warren E. and Marjorie M. (Towers) Rollerson. He was raised in Searsport and was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from Champion International Paper Co., as a supervisor of the super calendar department, after 39 years of service. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, and camping. Darrell is survived by his wife, Anne D. (Rogers) Rollerson of Bucksport; four children, Judy White of Orland, Darrell Rollerson and his wife, Carol, of Clinton, Iowa, Marnie Lord and her husband, Richard, of Orland, Harry 'Rick' Rollerson and his wife, Donna, of Bucksport; one stepson, Roger Brown of Searsport; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Rollerson and his wife, Mary, of Searsport; several nieces and nephews. Darrell was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth (Wardwell) Rollerson, in 1985; daughter, Diane Spencer, in 2004; and sister, Arlene Blake, in 1998."
