All spellings appear in early Hingham, MA records. Are they the same? Note: Came to Hingham about 1650 and in 1656 had land granted to him in the south part of town. Whether he was a connection of the early Garners/Gardners of Boston is uncertain. The inventory of his estate was appraised by John Tower and John Ripley, 28 April 1669, at £44, 11s. and included "the Goats that have been sold to pay debts and maintain the family."
