He was wounded 31 Dec 1862 at Srone River, TN and received a pension. He also had Elmer (1866), Charles D. (1869), Elvi S. (1872) and Calvin A. (1873) per Lauretta Griggs (3/00). His parents are from the unverified Buckhouse Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2012.
