(second) Arminta 'Minnie' Cassatt on 1 Jun 1896 in Brookville, Jefferson Co., PA - she is buried with him. "The Jeffersonian-Democrat [Brookville, Pennsylvania], 17 April 1924," p. 4: "Uriah Gearhart died at his home at Worthville at 4:20 a. m. on March 13 of a complication of diseases; he had been ill for two years. Mr. Gearhart was 68 years and 3 days old, having been born at Worthville on March 16, 1856; his parents were Levi and Caroline (Geist) Gearhart. He was married to Arminta Cassatt, of Clarington. Of their six children only three survive - Dussie, wife of E. C. Ferguson, Brookville; Anna, wife of B. B. Reynolds, Seattle, Wash., and Leo, of Worthville. Mr. Gearhart was a member of the Evangelical' Church and funeral services were conducted at the Pine Valley Church March 22 by Rev. T. O. Fuss, with interment in Worthville Cemetery."
