She was born in Perry county and came here with her husband, the late Harry J. Shreffler soon after they were married and has lived in town the remainder of her life. Mrs. Shreffler reared a large family of eight children, five of whom are living. Mrs. William Harmon living in town; Mrs. William Bentz and Mrs. Chester Trostle, Waynesboro; Mrs. Emma Mickleborough, of Chicago, Ill., and Harry, of Scranton, Pa. In addition to the five children she is survived by sixteen grand-children and two great-grand children. The deceased was aged about 79 years."
