[5689] Henry was Lord of Neubourg in Normandy and became Constable of Warwick Castle in 1068. His elder brother, Robert de Beaumont, fought with the Conqueror at Hastings in 1066. Henry spent most of his time in Normandy and was baron of the Norman exchequer. He was created Earl of Warwick early in William II's reign, and received the great estates of the Saxon Thurkill of Arden in Warwickshire. His parents, dates and places are from his death certificate. The marriage license of William and Maude Della Barker lists their parents as Anthony and Mary Dibler and Wayne and Anna Barker. The name is often seen Dibler. In the 3 May 1910 federal census in Avonmore, Westmoreland Co., PA he is listed as William J. Dibler (age 38) with wife Maude (age 31). The family is in the same place at the 1920 federal census and he is again listed as an engineer (in a foundry). They are listed as Joseph (age 56) and Maude (age 51) Dibler with their childen in the 11 April 1930 federal census in Avonmore and he is still working in the foundry. [45188] "Rutland Daily Herald, 4 January 1930," p. 10: "Funeral services for Carlos Williams, 73, who died suddenly Tuesday morning, were largely attended at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 2 oclock, following a brief prayer service at his home. Rev. A. Aubert, pastor, officiated there and at the committal service. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery. The bearers were Howard Smith, Henry Nolet, Frank Murray, Bert McClure, Roland Merchant and Myron Weaver. The family received a large number of floral tributes from relatives and friends including: spray from the employes of the H. B. Townsend garage, a wreath from the Baptist church and a spray from the executive committee of the Parent-Teacher association."
