The LDS Church's unverified Ancestral File gives her parents as Thomas Box, b. ca. 1641 and of Calvert Co., MD, and wife Jane _____. "The Boydstun Family," Gustine Courson Weaver (Cincinnati, OH: Powell & White, 1927), p. 31: "Sir Ralph Box was knighted Oct. 25, 1689. He had two children, Mahulda born 1702 and John who married Lydia Story, the daughter of Elisha Story. Mahulda married Thomas Boyd's son - John Box came from England and settled at Charlestown, Mass. (now Boston) where he married Lydia Story, born March 26, 1718-19 - and was a daughter of Elisha Story who lived where Paul Revere's house subsequently was built, near the old South Church of Boston. ...Thomas Boyd's son began spelling the name Boydson - This descendant was the first of the family who came to America being the son or grandson of Cornelius. The name was hence often spelled Borlstone as well as Boydstone with many variations throughout the different generations."

[25439] "Elizabethville Escho [Elizabethville, PA], 30 March 1933," p. 4: "George Adam Welker, age 70 years, 5 months and 27 days, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edwin Hartman, Gratz, Friday, March 24th. He had been in ill health the past two years, although he was bedfast only a week. Death was due to diabetes. Mr. Welker was a son of the late Daniel and Sarah (Faust) Welker and was born in Lykens Township, September 27, 1862. He was confirmed a member of the Gratz Reformed Church and was united in marriage to Adaline E. Umholtz by the late Rev. W. G. Engle. Mrs. Welker passed away a number of years ago. He is survived by four sons and eight daughters: John Welker, Lykens R. D.; Charles Welker, Elizabethville R. D.; Harry Welker, Gratz and Edward Welker, Steelton; Mrs. Albert Klock, Gratz; Mrs. Edwin Hartman, Gratz; Mrs. German Daniel, Lykens R. D.; Mrs. Francis Scheib, Lykens R. D.; Mrs. Charles Hess, Halifax R. D.; Mrs. Elias Bowers, Millersburg R. D.; Mrs. Norman Sitlingegr, Gratz and Mrs. Ira Mausser, Elizabethville R. D. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. Adaline Miller, thirty-five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Mr. Welker was a lifetime resident of the Gratz community where he had engaged in farming for many years."
