Find A Grave memorial 149646414 offers his obituary: "Hampden - Irving L. Bowden, 91, died July 21, 2015, at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. Irving built his own home in Hampden, where he lived while raising his family with his beloved wife, Esther. He was a lifelong member of Hammond Street Congregational Church, as well as a proud WWII veteran. Irving was married to his wife Esther for 68 years until her passing in 2014. He is survived by a sister, Nina Hansen of Bangor; his daughter, Peg Pupkis and her husband, Bill, of Frankfort; his son, Gary Bowden and his wife, Barbara, of Hampden; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews."

[43984] An unverified file in Ancestry.com offers: "When Mary Cornish was born on July 1, 1648, in Gloucester, Massachusetts, her father, Thomas, was 38, and her mother, Mary, was 28. She married John Cory and they had eight children together. She then married Content Titus in 1711. She died on April 9, 1702, in Huntington, New Jersey, at the age of 53."
[23107] The LDS Church's Ancestral File (8NSC-W9) states he was b. in Tenterden, but that he was baptised the same day in Thorncombe, Dorset - obviously there is a contradiction in the place for one of the events. This file also gives his father as Richard Lombard, b. ca. 1590 in Tenterden - which is obviously in error. See "Plymouth Colony: Its History and People, 1620-1691)," Eugene Aubrey Stratton (Ancestry Publishing, Provo, UT, 1986), pp. 319-320.
