B. B. Baird in charg.e Interment was in Aurora cemetery. . . . Emma Brillhart was born in Freeport, Ill., on August 12, 1852. In 1874 she was united in marriage to John K. Strohm. In 1885 she came with her husband to Hamilton county where she lived until her death, September 3, 1931 in Aurora, Nebr. Mrs Strohm was the last of a family of twelve children. She was a member of the Aurora Christian church and attended its services when able. She leaves behind her husband and a host of relatives and warm friends."

Thomas Newman was b. 13 Nov 1670 to Thomas Newman and Hannah Morse (m. at Ipswich 8 June 1665) and was grandson of Thomas Newman who arrived in 1639 on the ship Mary and John, a commoner in Ipswich by 1641 and surveyor of highways, 1662-63 (will proved in Nov. 1673 names wife Alice who d. 19 Nov 1679). Rose m. (2) 9 June 1684 William Hunt, widower of her first cousin Sarah Smith.
