[56572] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 9 July 2021: "Titusville - David C. Smart, 77, of Titusville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2021, while surrounded by his loving family. David was born on July 21, 1943, in Houlton, ME, to the late Carl and Geraldine Smart. David graduated from the University of Maine where he earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He then went on to work for Great Northern Paper in Maine, EC Jordan Company in Mexico and Finland, Simmons Eastern in Canada, Maine and New Zealand, then finally with Tasman Pulp and Paper in Australia. David was an accomplished Eagle Scout, a self-taught sailboat captain, church deacon, and a 32nd degree Mason and bagpiper for Kora Shrine Highlanders. He enjoyed fly fishing, bow hunting, SCUBA diving, saltwater aquariums and fly tying. But most of all he enjoyed his time as a loving husband, father and grandfather. David will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Linda Smart; children, Paul David (Regina) Smart, Susan Lee Smart, and Nancy Lorraine (Tom) Magadieu; grandchildren, Eileen (Joe)Harper, Madelynne L. Smart, Sophie L. Magadieu, and Gabriel E. Magadieu; great-grandchild, Henry David Harper; brother, Thomas (Debbie) Smart; brother-in-law, Spencer (Barbara) Smith; and twelve nieces and nephews."

See the unverified file LH1V-HBY in 2023 in familysearch.org which includes these notes: "The Richard Snow who died in Woburn in 1677 was most likely not the one who was born in 1608. An index to Middlesex County Court records gives his age in 1659, when he was dismissed from training, as about 62 years old. This would put his birth at approximately 1597. (See attached source and digital image of that document). The Richard Snow who sailed from Gravesend on the ship Expedition to Barbadoes in 1635, aged 28, does not fit with this earlier birthdate. There was an Annis Barratt on that ship and so early researchers assumed that since our Richard Snow married an Anis or Avis, that must have been her. Two people sailing to the new world on the same ship does not prove that they are the two people who later married. The Barbados records do not include a Richard Snow, though there is a John Snow there. A history of the island of Antigua mentions land that had been purchased of Richard Snow. Perhaps the Richard Snow who sailed to Barbados on the Expedition then went to Antigua. My family visited archives in Barbados and Antigua while on a Caribbean cruise and did not find more information on the Snow family, though we did have a lovely trip. I spent several years researching the descendants of Richard Snow of Woburn (pronounced Wooburn) and noticed that the family often named children and grandchildren after their ancestors.
In the descendants for several generations down, I did not find a single person named Patrick or Marie. I do not believe that those are the parents of our Richard Snow--unless he had a falling out with them. It seems more likely that his father was named John. - Linda Snow Westover"
