[51751] Find A Grave memorial 185464023 offers Charlotte's obituary: "Charlotte L. Brooker, 88, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath. She was born in Bar Harbor on September 1, 1928, a daughter of Lewis M. and Beulah W. (Hopkins) King. She attended Bar Harbor schools. In 1942 she moved to Bath with her family where her Dad, Lewis opened his plumbing & heating business on North Street. She attended Morse High school where she was active in the school band. Charlotte worked at various stores in town Bath and was also chosen to represent The Ford Modeling School of New York but didnt pursue that dream. In 1944 she met James Edward Brooker. He worked at Bath Iron Works, then later enlisted in the US Army and was military police. They were married on November 2, 1946. She enjoyed going to the Elks dances on weekends with her husband and group of friends. She also enjoyed roller skating at the Roller World in Topsham, spending time with her family and going to camp at Little Yarmouth Island in Harpswell. She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Brooker on April 25, 1969. She is survived by a daughter, Debra Wallace and her husband Mark E. of Brunswick, a son, James K. Brooker Sr. and his wife, Janice of Woolwich, one grandson, James K. Brooker Jr., three granddaughters, Stephenie Wallace Chaney, Amy McIlwain and her husband Myles and Betsy Brooker, three great grandchildren, Kristopher Wilson, Alex Wilson and Mila McIlwain, one great great granddaughter, Gracie Lynn, one sister, Marilynn Armes and her husband, Richard of Brunswick and many nieces and nephews."

As a child was of Hingham, daughter of Rev. John Norton, founding pastor of Old Ship Church in Hingham, Massachusetts, and nephew of John Norton (1606-1663), Puritan divine, and one of the first authors in the United States of America. Elizabeth Quincy was Abigail Smith Adams' grandmother, one of the greatest heroines of the American Revolution. She was also the Great Grandmother of the 6th President, John Quncy Adams, and she was the grandmother-in-law for John Adams. Thanks to Burton Bell for this information. Samuel and Mary Ann had David, Abraham, two unknown sons and John George [youngest known son, who left the family home in Franklin Twp., Richland Co., OH and moved "west".] Samuel is said to have had fourteen children. The only Samuel Reppert born in this time-frame in the LDS Church's IGI file was born in 1788 and "of Berks Co., PA." The 1850 census of Mill Creek Twp., Williams Co., OH shows Abraham with his wife Elizabeth and sons Samuel, John and Daniel; in the household is Samuel Reppert, apparently Abraham's father [age indistinct] who has real property values at $220 - Abraham's farm is valued at $900. The 1870 census at Scott, Steuben Twp., IN shows Abraham and wife with Samuel who is age 80 and was b. in PA. The 1880 census at Scott shows Abraham's son, Daniel, still in Abraham's household but with his wife Laura (age 27); son Abraham is also in this household, a carpenter who is marked "widowed."
