Lincoln, Johnson Co., NE "The Lincoln Star, 3 January 1944," p. 10: "Word has been received In Lincoln of the death of Dr. Clyde M. Corrington, former dentist here, who died in Flushing, N. Y. Dr. Corrington was born at Tecumseh and had lived in Lincoln for 20 years before moving to New York five years ago. He also practiced at Arlington and Sterling, Neb., at one time. He had been ill for several years. Surviving are his wife, Bertha; one daughter. Marjorie; two brothers, L. N. of Lincoln and Oron O. of Tecumseh; and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Toms of Tecumseh. Funeral services will be held in Lincoln with burial at Tecumseh."

Dunbar, 93, a retired Navy nursing corps lieutenant commander who died Monday in Devereux House Nursing Home here. She was born in Penobscot, Maine, and lived in Marblehead for the past 39 years. Miss Dunbar graduated from the former Connecticut College for Women and trained in psychiatric nursing. She later attended Georgetown University. She worked as a dietician in the Navy and in several East Coast hospitals. Miss Dunbar served the Navy for 20 years in the Nurse Corps of the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. She retired in 1947 and moved to Marblehead. She was on duty in Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941, the day Japanese forces attacked the Navy base there and declared war on the United States. While on duty in Washington, D.C., in 1930s, Miss Dunbar contributed to the purchase of the Army and Navy nurse statue that was placed in Arlington National Cemetery. She was a life member of the Retired Officers Association, the Marblehead Historical Society, life member of the Cyclists Touring Club of London, and the Chaplain Lyman Rollins Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Marblehead."

[23617] Mary's ancestry is not verified - it is from the Boydstun Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2010. The town of Boydston, Texas, was named after Henry S. Boydstun. About 1887, Henry and his father, James Berry Boydstun, went from Fort Worth, TX, to the Old Clarendon (TX) area (on the north banks of the north fork of the Red River) and passed through what is now Amarillo, TXs, into northern NM; they returned to Old Clarendon where Henry filed on the first section that was completely on the plains, 18 miles northwest of Clarendon. The first filing was forfeited, but Henry filed again.
