[18894] An unverified file in Ancestry World Tree states Elizabeth is daughter of Alexander Cole (b. 1533 in Milton, England). Ancestry.com offers: "Cole Name Meaning - English: from a Middle English pet form of Nicholas. English: from a Middle English personal name derived from the Old English byname Cola (from col '(char)coal', presumably denoting someone of swarthy appearance), or the Old Norse cognate Koli. Scottish and Irish: when not of English origin, this is a reduced and altered form of McCool. In some cases, particularly in New England, Cole is a translation of the French surname Charbonneau. Probably an Americanized spelling of German Kohl."

[51953] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 12 July 1934, p. 16: "Franklin, July 11 - Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Sarah Bunker, 83, widow of Lafayette A. Bunker, who died at the home of her youngest son, Josiah. Mrs. Bunker was the last widow of a Civil War veteran in the town. Mr. Bunker died about 17 years ago. Following his death she made her home with her daughter, Agnes Donnell, for a number of years, later going to the home of her son, Josiah. Mrs. Bunker leave two daughters and three sons, Eva Swan, Agnes Donnell, Jesse, Augustus and Josiah Bunker, all of Franklin. There are 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. One of her greatest enjoyments was visiting her grandchildren. She had spent two winters in Greenfield, Mass. with her granddaughters, Mrs. Henry Sargent and Mrs. Charles Ellsworth, and made many visits in the home of her grandson, Ernest Swan in Northeast Harbor, and granddaughter, Mrs lister Linscott in Bar Harbor, where she had many friends who were saddened to hear of her death. She had recently spent a day in her old home, which has been purchased by her grandson, James Bunker, which she heartily enjoyed. Mrs Bunker had been in falling health the past year but her last illness was only of 10 days duration. She returned in May from Winter Harbor where she spent the past winter as she had the two previous winters with her niece, Mrs. Nellie Emallidge,"
