June was born on June 6, 1940, in Patten, Maine, the daughter of the late Frederick and Artie (Hiltz) Hanson Sr. She married her best friend, Larry Wasson, and they celebrated 52 years of marriage together. June was a wonderful wife, mom and grandmother. She enjoyed making jewelry, collecting pocketbooks with matching shoes, and dressing up in her favorite clothes made by Alfred Dunner. She had a heart for Jesus and enjoyed singing in church and in the local nursing homes. She is survived by her children, Keith Wasson (Linda) of Charleston, Kevin Wasson (Sheila) of Bradford, Karen Smith (Rick) of Kenduskeag, and Kristal Huskey (Jim) of Cibilo, Texas; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Foster and Avis Kelly; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Larry; her granddaughter, Brandi; her siblings, Fredrick Hanson Jr., Mary Beaulieu, Gilbert Hanson, Velma Yatroussis, Clara Hiltz, and Benjamin Hanson."
