He was discharges 24 July 1865. He moved to Arlington, south Dakota in 1880, along with his parents. He never had any children, but named 29 nieces and nephews in his will. George Blighton was born 28 September 1841 at Cattaraugus, NY. He married Electra Emory in 1863. I believe she was a concert violinist. She was stabbed during a domestic violence in Arlington, when she tried to protect her friend from her violent husband. . . . She died a few days later, at the age of 60. George was a Blacksmith. Geroge had served in the Civil War - Iowa Black's Roster of Volunteers, Company I Infantry. He was discharged 24 July 1865. He moved to Arlington, south Dakota in 1880, along with his parents. Electra murdered 4 July 1892. In 1895, He married Julia Clark. He died 26 August 1924. He never had any children, but named 29 nieces and nephews in his will."

Eathel Eyerly was born May 22, 1913, in Winterset to Charles and Minnie (Paullin) McDonald and was a graduate of Winterset High School. Her marriage to Kenneth Wright Eyerly took place July 8, 1934, in Winterset. A lifetime resident of Winterset, Eathel was a store clerk at the Bizz Mart in Winterset and also worked at Continental Western Insurance in Des Moines until her retirement. She was a member of the Child Welfare Club, First United Methodist Church and Eastern Star, of which she was Past Worthy Matron. She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother, Charles Calvin McDonald; and a sister, Esther Pauline Groth. She is survived by three sons, Robert L. Eyerly of Aurora, Colo., and Donald R. Eyerly and John Eyerly, both of Winterset; and seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren."
