Funeral arrangements were incomplete Saturday evening, with Guardian Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Hollingsworth was born January 6, 1894, in Childress and left here in 1922. He married Lovdia Shephard of Belton in 1918. He was active in the First Baptist Church here, completed school here and was employed at the FW&D Shops. Survivors are his wife; one son, E. J. Hollingsworth of North Highland, Calif.; two daughters Mrs. W. R. Wallace of Harrisburg, Penn., Mrs. Charlie Cain of Tokyo, Japan, two brothers, C. D. Hollingsworth of Denver and L. B. Hollingsworth of Childress; one sister Mrs. W. R Swindell of Dallas; 10 grandchildren."

Descendant Mary Fischer reports: "Nehemiah lived in: Fannette Township, Franklin, PA (1860) - Susquehanna, Dauphin, PA (1870) - Shippensburg, Cumberland, PA (1875) - Shelby, Richland, OH (1880) - Greeley, Weld, CO - Montgomery Township, Woodford, IL (1900). Occupation: Laborer (1880 Census), Farming (1900). Family oral history says that Nehemiah also spent time working as a Miner which is probably why he and Emma moved to Colorado."
