Morrow died at his home in Loysville, February 22nd, after an illness of three days. The deceased was a son of Thomas and Margaret (McCullough) Morrow, and was born in Juniata county, August 10, 1838. He was aged 84 years, 6 months and 12 days. Mr. Morrow was married May 8, 1862, to Susan Valentine, who survives with five sons and three daughters, namely: Margaret (Mrs. Lewis Ellerman) of near Landisburg; Charles, E., of Wilkinsburg, Pa.; Harry C, of Newport; Mary J., (Mrs. Jesse M. Sheaffer) of Kistler; Albert, of near Landisburg; Carrie B., (Mrs. S. C. Wagner) of Harrisburg; James M., of near Loysville; William D., of Newell, Pa. Thirty-nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive. The deceased was the last survivor of a large family and was among the few Civil War veterans left in this community.
