The Cahill Family web site at Ancestry World Tree in 2004 provides this child of Giles and Catherine, and reports that Roger m. Sibyl de Patshull (b. ca. 1328 of Paston, Co. Norfolk, daughter of John de Pateshull and Mabilia de Grandison). Roger and Sibyl had Roger Beauchamp (b. 1363 in Bletsoe, Bedfordshire, d. 3 May 1406) who m. ac. 1380 Johanna Clopton (b. ca. 1363 and of Paston, Co. Norfolk, daughter of William Clopton and Ivetta de Grey).
However, "Some corrections and additions to the Complete Peerage: Volume 2: Beauchamp of Bletsoe" (on the Web at http://www.medievalgenealogy.org.uk/cp/beauchampofbletsoe.shtml) offers: "Volume 2, page 44: ROGER BEAUCHAMP, of Bletsoe, co. Bedford, and of Lydiard Tregoz, Wilts, sometimes said to be a yr. s. of Giles B. (living 1346), s. of Walter B., of Powick, co. Worcester ...
"As stated in Complete Peerage, volume 14, page 45, Roger's will refers to his grandfather Sir Walter de Beauchamp [Sir N.H. Nicolas, Testamenta Vetusta, p.103 (1826); A. Gibbons, Early Lincoln Wills..., p.29 (1888)]. However, the following evidence shows that it is chronologically impossible for Roger to have been a son of Giles.
"At the inquisition taken in 1362 after Giles de Beauchamp's death, his son and heir Sir John was said to be aged 23 years and more], implying that he was born about 1339 [Cal. Inq. p.m. vol.11, no 288]. Even if this age is incorrect, it is clear that John could not have been born before the late 1320s. He was certainly the son of Katherine, the daughter of John de Bures and his wife Hawise (Muscegros), as is clear from the descent of the manor of Boddington, Gloucestershire [Victoria County History, Gloucestershire, vol.8, p.190]. Katherine's age was variously given as 26 and more, 30 and more and 35 and more at the inquisitions taken after her father's death in 1351 [Cal. Inq. p.m., vol.9, no 578], but in any case she must have been born after the death of her mother's previous husband John de Ferrers, about August 1312 [Complete Peerage, vol.5, p.309]. According to Complete Peerage, vol.2, p.46, note f, Giles was married to Katherine in 1329; in this year, the manor of Boddington was settled on the couple [Victoria County History, Gloucestershire, vol.8, p.190, citing CP 25(1)/286/35/34].
"So it is clear that any younger son of Giles could not have be born before the late 1320s at the earliest, and more likely would have be born in the early 1330s.
"On the other hand, there is ample evidence that Roger de Beauchamp was active by the mid-to-late 1330s. On 15 March 1336/7, he - described as a king's yeoman - and his wife Sibyl were granted a yearly allowance [Cal. Patent Rolls, 1334-38, p.394]; on 1 March 1337/8 he - again described as a king's yeoman - was granted for life the remainder of the manor of Bloxham, Oxfordshire [Cal. Fine Rolls, 1337-47, p.68] and on 25 October 1340, as Sir Roger de Beauchamp, described as the queen's bachelor, was granted for life the keeping of her castle of Devizes [Cal. Patent Rolls, 1340-43, p.115].
"Sibyl was already bearing children at this point, as implied by a petition of Queen Philippa to the pope, on behalf of "her spiritual son", Philip de Bello Campo, son of Roger de Bello Campo, knight, granted 9 March 1352/3, in which Philip is said to be in his fourteenth year [Cal. Papal Petitions, vol.1, p.239]. (A later petition of Philip de Bellocampo, son of Roger de Bellocampo, baron, granted 11 August 1361, states that he was aged 23 [Cal. Papal Petitions, vol.1, p.374].)
"[The chronological difficulty of placing Roger as a son of Giles was pointed out by Leslie Mahler in February 1998, Henry Sutliff in April 1998 and Douglas Richardson in July 2000.]
"Volume 2, page 44, as corrected by volume 14, page 75:
"He [Roger Beauchamp (d.1379/80)] m., 1stly, before 1336/7 ... Sibyl, 1st of the four sisters and coheirs of Sir William PATSHULL, da. of Sir John PATSHULL, of Bletsoe afsd, ... She, who was aged 20 and more at her father's death, 27 Sep. 1359, ...
"In the inquisitions taken after the death of her brother Sir William de Pateshull, in September and October 1359, Sibyl is variously said to be aged 20 years and more (Lincoln and Hertford), of full age (Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire), or 40 years (Yorkshire and Northamptonshire) [Cal. Inq. p.m., vol.10, no 520].
"In fact, Sibyl must have been much older than 20 at this time, as she was married by 15 March 1336/7 and bearing children soon afterwards (see above)."

[54754] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]," 19 September 2023: "Ellsworth - Nancy Jean (Tilden) King, 80, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2023, following an eight-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Throughout her life, she was a pioneering businesswoman and community leader in Eastern Maine. Her family is deeply saddened by her passing. Nancy was born on Aug. 4, 1943, in Hartford, Conn. She was the daughter of Jasper L. Tilden and Alice G. Tilden (née Jones) of Ellsworth and the younger sister of Elizabeth T. Meeks (née Tilden). A 1961 graduate of Ellsworth High School, Nancy went on to graduate from both Chamberlain College (now Emerson College) in Boston, Mass., and Husson College in Bangor. She majored in women's fashion and business and marketing. In her early years, Nancy was active in dance, theater, fashion, beauty products, pageants, and cheerleading. In 1961, she was voted nationally as 'Miss Clearasil' and appeared in tens of thousands of national magazine advertisements representing the famous skin product. In 1966, Nancy took a job with WLBZ television in Bangor and became a top salesperson in a predominantly male-dominated (and quite new) television advertising industry. She and her boss, Margo Cobb, were well ahead of their time, competing throughout the mid-60s with their male counterparts in an era in which they were not allowed to join men's business organizations, which hindered their networking prospects. When they gave birth to their children, these women were allowed a mere two-week maternity leave and were told that if they did not return in two weeks their jobs would be dissolved without pay. Yet they both persevered as stellar producers. Clearly, there was much less gender equality in the workplace in those days, and Nancy was one of the pioneering women who made it evident that women could and would hold their own in the workplace. It was during this time that Nancy met Raymond G. Hawkins of Lufkin, Texas, who was stationed at the Winter Harbor Navy Base in Winter Harbor. The couple married in 1967 and had a son, Troy Arthur Hawkins. Nancy was married to her second husband, Benjamin D. Adams of Lincoln, Mass., from 1973 to 1993. The couple resided briefly in Lincoln and Burlington, Mass., but settled back in the Downeast area to help Nancy's parents. In the mid-1970s, Nancy took up the entrepreneurial spirit of both of her parents, and became involved in running their businesses, Jasper's Restaurant and Motel, which her father founded in 1957 and which was a local institution for 60 years, and Alice's Fashions, her mother's popular women's clothing store. An excellent marketer, Nancy helped grow and improve these businesses to their peak prominence during her 22-year reign in charge. During the 1980s, in addition to running the two businesses, Nancy was busy lending her leadership skills to a number of activities that benefited the community and brought her joy. She coached the Ellsworth Junior High and Junior Varsity high school cheerleading squads, and she ran and directed multiple beauty pageants in Eastern Maine. Many of her contestants either won Miss Maine titles or placed in the top three. Nancy created special bonds and friendships with many Miss Maine title winners and contestants from all parts of the state. Her cheerleading squads won and placed in multiple competitions over her coaching years. Nancy said that 'coaching was her favorite leadership role ever and that her girls were like the daughters she never had.' Additionally, she also served in the 80s on the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors where she helped to create and found the Autumn Gold Celebration, which is still celebrated in the Ellsworth area today, and also helped create the Chamber of Commerce "Top Drawer Award," which to this day still honors local business owners for their outstanding contributions to the local economy. She also helped co-found the MDI Yacht Club, which still runs strong today with many happy members. Her close boating friends became some of her very best friends for the rest of her life. In the mid-1990s, Nancy met Lawrence King of Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. The two founded LANA Corporation. Together they developed land and housing projects in the Blue Hill, Ellsworth, and Trenton areas. Their developments created the current location of Darlings RAM auto mall and Jackson Laboratory (originally Lowes) and the current top-of-the-hill Dunkin Donuts in Ellsworth. Nancy and Larry were married from 1995 until his death in 2016. Unfortunately, in 2017, Nancy was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. She was cared for by her son Troy and his son Jackson, along with an amazing team of loving caregivers and friends. Nancy's family thanks each and every one of her caregivers for the love, help, and moral support that they gave to Nancy. Nancy would want a special remembrance to all of her childhood, school, business, cheering, beauty pageant, and boating friends, of which there are just too many to mention by name. In addition to her only child, Troy Arthur Hawkins Adams of Trenton, and her grandson Jackson Ray Hawkins of Ellsworth, Nancy is survived by her sister Elizabeth Tilden Meeks of Homosassa, Fla., and her nephews Michael Meeks and Mark Meeks of Columbus, Ohio, and Minneapolis, Minn."
