[50097] "Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 9 February 2008: "Deer Isle - Essie Haskell died Feb. 6, 2008, at Island Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 4, 1908, in Little Deer Isle, the daughter of Arthur and Myrtie (Howard) Billings. She attended Eggemoggin School, Little Deer Isle. In 1928 she married Benjamin F. 'Bennie' Haskell. They made their first home in Rockland. Later they made their permanent home in Little Deer Isle. She was a member of R.L.D.S. Church, Community of Christ, and served as organist, choir member and Sunday school teacher. She worked for several years for Stonington Packing Co. Essie is survived by her sons, Milton and wife, Priscilla, of Deer Isle, Franklin and wife, Pauline, and Douglas and wife, Linda, of Little Deer Isle; daughter, Geraldine and husband, Theodore Turner, of Swans Island; and stepdaughter, Shirley Carville of Little Deer Isle. She leaves a sister, Jeanette Mitchell; sister-in-law, Lenora Billings; six grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-stepgrandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband in 1971; by sisters, Ramona Eaton, Sabrina Sellers, Alice Varisco and Rhoda Carter; brothers, Eugene Billings and Galen Billings; and grandchildren, Maryann Haskell and Franklin Haskell Jr. A private graveside service will be held at Gray's Hill Cemetery, Little Deer Isle, in the spring."

[40082] Find A Grave Memorial 69223456 offers: "Obit: Chester Clay Linville, 61, years of age, died Saturday morning at his home in Tuttle, Okla., of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Linville was a native of Chillicothe and had lived in Texas and Oklahoma. He was employed in artificial insemination work at the U.T. Ranch, east of Tuttle, having moved there in 1967. Funeral services will be at 2pm Wednesday at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home with Dr. Earl Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Anderson cemetery. The body will arrive at the Norman Funeral Home late this evening. Mr. Linville was born February 3, 1913, the son of Wiley Lee and Mary Celestia Haynes Linville. He married Thelma Long of Chillicothe July 15, 1939. He was a member of the Olive Branch Baptist church, attended the rural Linville school and moved to Texas from Chillicothe. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Chester Lee Linville, Denver, Colo.; a brother, Fred Linville, Chillicothe; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Mullenix, Chillicothe; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a child, and a brother, Reuben. (Chillicothe Constitution Tribune March 18, 1974)."
